NOTICE OF BOARD OF REVIEW ORGANIZATIONAL MEETING

The organizational meeting of the Benton Charter Twp. Board of Review will be held on Tuesday, March 3, 2026 at 10:15 a.m. at Benton Charter Twp. Hall, 1725 Territorial Road, Benton Harbor, MI.

No appeals of 2026 assessments will be heard at the 3/3/2026 organizational meeting.

The Board of Review will hear appeals on the 2026 assessments on Tuesday, March 10, 2026 from 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. and Thursday, March 12, 2026 from 3:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. by appointment only. Resident and non-resident property owners may protest by letter if received by 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 12, 2026. Estimated multipliers for each class of property for 2026 are as follows:

Agricultural... 1.1812; Commercial... .9785; Industrial... 1.0378; Residential... 1.0454

The tentative radio for each class is 50%. The inflation rate multiplier for use in calculating the 2026 capped value is 1.027. The Township will provide necessary reasonable auxillary aids and services to those with disabilities planning to attend upon three (3) days' notice to the Township Clerk.
